Gold Coast Dolphin Watch Training Workshop – 28th June 2025

Do you want to learn how you can help monitor dolphins in your area? Or would you like to become an East Coast Dolphin Watch Citizen Scientist?

Join our upcoming Gold Coast Dolphin Watch Citizen Science Community Training Workshop!

You will meet our knowledgeable expert team and learn about the Gold Coast dolphin population and how to observe and record your sightings to help monitor dolphins in South East Queensland and beyond. This workshop will also outline how to identify different species and interpret dolphin behaviours. In the second part of the workshop, you will apply the survey protocols you’ve just learnt and participate in a Dolphin Watch survey at one of our land-based locations.
