Moreton Bay Dolphin Ecology Workshop

Join us for this special dolphin ecology workshop! We’ll be holding the workshop on-board the Moreton Bay Environment Education Centre’s vessel in Manly Boat Harbour, Queensland. We’ll begin the workshop at 8.45am with a presentation about the biology, ecology and conservation of dolphins from Dr Liz Hawkins. As part of the teaching, Dr Hawkins will show you how to take observations and photographs of dolphins that can help us to research and monitor the populations of Moreton Bay and beyond. We’ll then head out into the Bay to try and meet some of the dolphins of Moreton Bay and practice observing and recording information about them that can be used to monitor their status and health. We’ll be heading back into Manly and disembarking at 12.30pm.

The workshop is a great experience for ocean and wildlife lovers alike! It is suitable for families with children 8 years and over.
