In 2018, Dolphin Research Australia will be once again presenting our Moreton Bay Dolphin Ecology Workshop.
Please Note: Dates for 2018 workshops are yet to be announced
These workshops are a great experience for ocean and wildlife lovers alike!
Workshops are presented by Dr Liz Hawkins, Dolphin Research Australia lead researcher who has over 14years of experience. You’ll learn the basics of the biology, ecology and conservation of dolphins in Moreton Bay. As part of the teaching, Dr Hawkins will also show you how to take observations and photographs of dolphins that can help us to research and monitor the populations of Moreton Bay and beyond.
Following Dr Hawkins’ presentation, we then head out for some dolphin watching in the Bay.Previously we have held the workshop on-board the Moreton Bay Environment Education Centre’s vessel in Manly Boat Harbour, Queensland.
Please note this workshop is suitable for families with children 8 years and over.
