Batgirl
$60.00 – $250.00
Adopt A dolphin:
We were first introduced to Batgirl in September 2003 at Ballina associating with a Southern Right Whale. She has since been regularly encountered between the Richmond River mouth at Ballina and Lennox Head resting, feeding and socialising. Lennox Head is an important feeding ground for dolphins and appears to be the northern boundary of Batgirl’s home range. In September 2008, Batgirl was observed with a young calf in Prospect Lake, Ballina. She and her calf became trapped in the lake and had to be rescued and released safely back into the open ocean.
