First identified in 2004, Feather is one of the most distinct resident dolphins found in Byron Bay. She is usually seen in a big mother-calf groups resting and feeding around Cape Byron and the reefs. Feather is a mother and in 2009, she had a calf that is looking very healthy. She was seen in summer 2010 teaching her calf how to feed and catch fish. She has a very maternal nature and has a close bond with Cousin.
