Gold Coast Dolphin Watch Citizen Science Field Training Workshop 2024
Do you enjoy walking on the coast and looking out for dolphins? Your interest in marine life can help collect important data about our coastal dolphins and other cetaceans. Join our upcoming Gold Coast Dolphin Watch Citizen Science survey & field training day!
You will meet our knowledgeable team and learn about the Gold Coast dolphin population and how to observe and record your sightings. This workshop will also outline how to identify different species and interpret dolphin behaviours. In the second part of the workshop, you will apply the survey protocols you’ve just learnt and participate in a Dolphin Watch survey at one of our land-based locations.
